You want to use HubSpot for your marketing activities and can't decide between Marketing Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise?
Selecting the appropriate license for your company hinges on your business structure and the software solution that best aligns with your needs, requirements, and goals.
Before I get started, I would like to tell you how many user licenses these hubs include:
The Marketing Hub Professional comes with 3 licenses, with each extra license priced at $45 per month. The Marketing Hub Enterprise offers 5 licenses, and each additional license costs $75.
The Marketing Hub Professional offers a wide array of tools and diverse, optimized options, encompassing all the features found in the "Free" and "Starter" versions.
As in addition to Marketing Hub Professional, there is the free HubSpot CRM, and you can also use the free versions of HubSpot Sales, Service, CMS, and Operations Hub. So besides your marketing efforts, you can also integrate other business activities.
Before discussing the primary functionalities of Marketing Pro, I want to highlight the shared and significant features that vary only in their limits:
Marketing contacts
The Professional license includes 2,000 marketing contacts, the Enterprise license includes 10,000.
Campaign reports
This amounts to 5,000 per account and increases to 10,000 with Enterprise.
Email Marketing
The sending limit for emails is 10 times your marketing contact amount per month, for Enterprise the limit is 20 times.
Social Media
Up to 50 social media accounts can be connecteded in HubSpot, incl. 10.000 posts per month with a planning ability of 3 years in advance; with Enterprises, it is up to 300 accounts.
Shared mailbox and user-defined views
The Marketing Hub Professional offers up to 100 inboxes including 50 user-defined views per account, while the Enterprise offers up to 200 inboxes and 600 user-defined views.
List segmentation
With Professional, 1,200 active and static 1,200 lists are available, rising to 2,000 each with Enterprise.

25 dashboards, each of which can contain up to 30 reports, and increases to 50 dashboards with an upgrade to Enterprise.

Marketing Pro includes 25 calculated properties and this number increases to 200 for Enterprise.

Marketing Pro provides 25 filtered analytics views, compared to 50 for Enterprise.
Default settings (presets)
A big difference: Marketing Pro has 5 settings, Enterprise has 100.
Customized reporting
Marketing Pro allows a maximum of 100 customized reports and 10 million events per custom reporting request.Unlike Enterprise, which permits 500 and 100 million events..
Ads Management & Retargeting
All available ad types are supported for 5 audiences (retargeting) including 50 ad conversion synced events and increase to 15 audiences with 100 ad conversion synced events for Enterprise.
Omni-Channel Marketing Automation
For Marketing Pro, the maximal number of workflows is 300 and increases to 1,000 when upgrading to Enterprise.
A lot has happened since 2023 and I thought it wouldn't stop ;-)
Now, let's explore the key and intriguing features for companies that require the technologies offered by Marketing Hub Professional.
The Marketing Hub Enterprise is designed for companies that want to properly manage and map a wider and deeper range of processes. Be it user roles and custom authorization sets or more extensive reports and contact lists.
The features you will only find in Marketing Enterprise include:
What makes HubSpot a suitable platform for companies is the ease of use of a rather complex tool.
The complete overview of all features with pricing can be accessed here HubSpot Marketing Hub™.
Now that you know the essential features of both Marketing Hubs, the crucial question is: Which Marketing Hub is best for your business?
What initially deters many companies is, of course, the price. After all, the monthly costs between Marketing Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise differ considerably, even for the one-time onboarding costs.
However, if you leverage the full potential of HubSpot, it will pay off again.
When evaluating your options, you should also be aware that buying the software alone is not enough. In order for HubSpot to pay off, you need to invest in your marketing efforts on an ongoing basis through content and advertising, if appropriate.
To choose the right marketing hub for your business, you should be clear about your goals. How do you want to make your goals measurable and achievable? What functionalities do you need to achieve them, and out of which Hub?
Who will all be working in HubSpot? And how many user roles do you want to be able to assign?
Do you already have experience with HubSpot, or none yet? If the answer is no, you may want to get to know and use the features of Marketing Professional first before upgrading to Enterprise.
HubSpot is constantly developing and improving, which means that the functions may change for each hub in the future.
